1. About this site
Shieldworks is a Canadian detailing supply house. These terms apply to orders placed through this site. Placing an order is an offer to buy; we confirm acceptance when we send the invoice.
2. Prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax. Tax is calculated at checkout at the combined rate for the destination province.
Prices shown are sourced from observed Canadian retail listings for the same product and size. Where no Canadian listing could be verified, the product page states so explicitly and marks the figure as an estimate. We do not present estimated figures as researched ones.
3. Payment
The only payment method offered is Interac e-Transfer, presented at checkout as “Interac e-Transfer — invoice sent on confirmation.” No card details are collected at any point and this site holds no payment credentials. An invoice follows order confirmation, and the order stays On hold until payment clears.
4. Stock
Stock status is shown as in stock or out of stock.
5. Product information
Specifications are reproduced from manufacturer and distributor documentation for the product and size listed. Where a figure is not published by the manufacturer, the field is omitted rather than estimated.
Product descriptions are written by us. Where a specification appears, it is sourced; where guidance appears, it is our opinion and is offered as such.
6. Liability
Detailing chemistry is chemistry. Read the manufacturer’s safety data sheet, observe stated dilutions, and use appropriate protection. We are not liable for damage arising from misuse, from use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, or from application to an unsuitable surface.
7. Intellectual property
Brand names, product names and trade marks belong to their respective owners. Product imagery is manufacturer packshot material. Where no manufacturer packshot could be sourced for a product, a typographic placeholder is shown rather than another retailer’s photography.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
