An air freshener that reproduces the new-car smell, which is the one fragrance in this category people actually ask for by name. It is worth being clear about what an air freshener is and is not: it adds a scent, it does not remove one. If a car smells of smoke, damp or spoiled milk, the source is in the carpet foam, the cabin filter or the evaporator, and spraying fragrance over it produces a car that smells of both things at once. Find and remove the source first, then use this.
