Chemical Guys' Signature Scent is the alternative to the new-car fragrance for people who find that one clinical — warmer and less synthetic, and the one most detail shops end up using as their house smell because it is recognisable without being overpowering. Same caveat as any air freshener: it finishes a clean interior, it does not rescue a dirty one. Apply it to the carpet or into the airflow rather than onto a warm dashboard, where fragrance oils can leave a mark, and use considerably less than you think you need.
